Sum Drop โ€“ Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026 ยท Applies to the Sum Drop web game at sumdrop.supertoonz.dev and the Sum Drop app for Android and iOS.

The short version. Sum Drop has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Solo play never leaves your device. The only information the game sends to our server is what you choose to type: a player name for online rooms or the weekly leaderboard, your solo score if you decide to save it, and, if you buy a claimed name on Android, the purchase receipt so we can confirm it with Google Play.

Who we are

Sum Drop is made by Supertoonz. You can reach us at supertoonz.abdul@gmail.com.

What the game stores on your device

The game keeps a few values on your phone or in your browser so it can remember you between plays. They stay on the device and are never uploaded on their own.

Uninstalling the app, or clearing the site's data in your browser, removes all of it.

What is sent to our server, and why

WhenWhatWhyKept for
Playing Battle or Party The player name you type, the room code, and your taps during the game. To run the room and show every player the same balloons and scores. Only while the room exists. When the last player leaves, the room is deleted.
Starting a solo game A request for a signed game token. No personal information. To stop scores that could not have come from a real game. Tokens expire after 6 hours.
Saving a solo score (optional) The player name you type, your score, balloons popped and level. To show this week's top scores to all players. The board clears itself every Monday 00:00 UTC.
Claiming a name (Android, optional purchase) The name you want, and the Google Play purchase token for your order. To confirm the purchase with Google Play, reserve the name for you, and give you the key that proves it is yours. For as long as the claim lasts. A refunded or revoked purchase releases the name and we delete the claim.

Saving a score is always your choice. The game-over screen offers it and you can decline. Player names are shown to other players in rooms and on the public leaderboard, so please do not use your real full name or anything you would not want others to see.

Purchases

Claimed names are sold through Google Play as a one-time in-app product. Google handles the payment and knows your Google account and payment details; we do not see them. We only receive a purchase token, which we use to verify the order with Google and to check, once a day, whether it was refunded. Google's own privacy policy applies to the payment: policies.google.com/privacy.

Who else sees the data

We do not sell any data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than running the game.

Children

Sum Drop is a maths game that children may play. It does not ask for an age, an email address, a real name or any account. The only free-text field is the player name, which is shown to other players. The claimed-name purchase is made through Google Play and is subject to the parental controls set up on the device.

Security

All traffic between the game and our server is encrypted (HTTPS and secure WebSockets). Claimed-name keys are random secrets that are only ever sent from your device to our server.
